Jason moved to Rockhampton in 1992 having lived in Brisbane and Sydney prior to that. He has a passion for technology and innovation. Being involved with computing since 1984 and the web industry since 1997, Jason is enthusiastic about the possibilities these technologies can bring to Rockhampton (and regional Australia).
Sarah-Joy Pierce
Sarah-Joy Pierce is passionate about local business and social media, and is so excited to see the business community united by social media to organise the inaugural TEDx Rockhampton. A Rockhampton born-and-bred girl, Sarah has travelled the world, but returned to Central Queensland to settle down as a small business consultant with exceler8 Business Development. Sarah truly believes in the potential of the Central Queensland community.
Luke Brunsmann
Luke Brunsmann is a Systems Administrator working at Rockhampton Hospital, with a keen eye for politics, technology, and all things geeky. Being involved with non-profit organisations, Luke enjoys getting involved at the ground level and helping ideas grow. Twitter: @lbrunsmann
Aaron Young
Aaron is a creative and technical all-rounder. He was born in Rockhampton and grew up in CQ. After working in Brisbane and on the Gold Coast for more than 10 years has returned to CQ to start a family and take up a role in IT for the State Government. Aaron was involved in the first TEDxRockhampton as the official photographer and videographer.
Samuel Pavin
Samuel is a freelance consultant helping startups and small businesses with their marketing, social media and business development. A lover of tech and startups, having built and managed a corporate program for startups for the last five years. Having traveled the world, lived and worked in France and the UK, he is now willing to take part in the development of entrepreneurship and startups, in Rockhampton, Central Queensland and Australia.
